Designed in dominant black, with clear yellow accents, McCulloch’s two new hedge trimmers are sure to stand out from the crowd- for more than one reason. Their low weight and well-balanced design, offers unparalleled handling and comfort that stands out. As a part of McCulloch’s product launch this spring, the two new hedge trimmers, SUPERLITE 4528 and ERGOLITE 6028 offer a wide range of new solutions.
Both models come with dual-action blades, able to cut branches up to 20 mm in width. The competitively priced SUPERLITE 4528 is intended for do-it-yourself gardeners, while the ERGOLITE 6028 is packed with more features and speaks to more demanding domestic users.
Both models have been carefully crafted with ergonomics, efficiency and overall performance in mind. The machines’ light weight is balanced between the front and rear handles to facilitate your every move, with operator comfort further enhanced by an efficient anti-vibration system. The engine has been designed to go easy on the ears, without compromising on power output, and both models provide a cleaner working environment – with exhausts emissions directed away from the user and along the blade. To make trimming extra easy in those difficult high and low positions, the rear handle of the ERGOLITE 6028 locks easily into five different positions.
The intuitive design of the hedge trimmers makes operation simple, with every control located near the rear handle. Starting a power product has never been easier, with the SoftStart system that reduces resistance in the starter cord by up to 40 per cent. Add to that a transparent fuel tank that keeps you continuously updated on when to fill up, and an air filter that can be cleaned effortlessly without tools. All of these features result in an extremely responsive machine - ready to get the job done, at your command.
